1. Please download the application form here, fill it out and e-mail to application@ddh-epub.com
2. We will e-mail you all the details about publishing processes, agreements, payment, and royalties.
3. You will be requested to pay $100 USD as down payment for us to apply the ISBN for each Title (if it has not had one yet)
4. After ISBN is obtained, both parties will go through the Digital Publication Contract, agree the legal written terms and sign the Contract.
5. You will be requested to format the files yourself according to the given instructions to fit Kindle’s layout and send them to us.
6. The rest of publishing fees will need to be paid up as soon as the book is available on Kindle Store.
NOTE: The entire procedure is to be accomplished approximately in 10 business days.
The list prices of your books are determined by you. However, the selling portal, such as Amazon Kindle Store, has the right to make any promotion, discount, or markup on your books.
Your royalties is 18% of the suggested List Price ("LIST PRICE") multiplies the quantity sold worldwide. Though Amazon has the right to change the Retail Price, any change in tagged prices will not affect the royalties you are to receive calculated on base of the list price suggested by you.
Please be aware that the retail price of e-books sold on Kindle Store is varied according to the buyer’s country or region, which you can check by clicking 'Your country or origin' drop-down window on the up left side of Kindle Store.
The sales report will be emailed to you every month, and We will distribute your royalties by Paypal or other electronic payment system 3 months after the report is sent.
Example: You set the List Price for your Title A as $10 USD, Title B as $5 USD.
100 copies of Title A and 200 copies of title B are sold during Jan 4-Feb 3.
The sales report we send to you on Feb 28 will show:
Net amount of Title A sold:100 copies, List Price:$10 USD,
Net amount of Title B sold:200 copies, List Price:$5 USD,
Your royalties = ((100x$10)+(200x$5))x18%=$360 USD
Therefore, we will pay $360 USD to you on the last day of May. (Details of payment method, tax withheld, and processing fee will be discussed in ‘Digital Publication Contract’).
